A healthy relationship with activity starts at an early age, and we admire the work Partnership for a Healthier America is doing to create positive experiences for children in physical activity. We’re excited to join them in their mission to encourage healthy lifestyles, nation-wide.
We know that active kids work and play better. They score up to 40 percent higher on tests and are 15 percent more likely to go to college. They also have increased concentration, better school attendance and behavior, healthier eating habits and a stronger sense of self than inactive kids.
Parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches and more play an important role in helping kids stay active, so PHA works with companies to encourage access to physical activity and promote tips and tricks throughout their media channels to make it easier. To date, more than 3.9 million kids have moved more thanks to physical opportunities created by PHA partners.
